One of the most influential sub-genres in factual programming would be considered to be the News, which captures a large and varied target audition and holds only mealtime slots for each day. The news programmes have continuously been a very important part of the British society, and a lot of concourse take the study presented on these programmes as absolute fact.This is largely due to the way these programmes present themselves. The news readers are forever dressed in a well presented way (the traditional English suit and tie), which gives the audience a sense of the presenter be a representative of truth and accuracy and gives him/her a place in authority. This is a very subtle technique to persuade the audience that the facts presented to them are being relayed in an give up manner. The audience recognise that its a fact news program.Its a convention to have an older man presenting a news program to show that he have had more experience in life. On the early(a) hand, a woman presenter turn to be younger to give a bit of knockout and taste to the prog ram. In the program there are news features, they are produced from a location by a news reporter. This is all factual reportage. This is both code and convention, because its not scripted and all the images are real. Speaking in region accent shows that this news program is for everybody.
